Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) is a voluntary association of Consulting Engineering firms with a member base across the country totaling in excess of 560 companies. CESA is the custodian of the wellbeing of the industry supported by member firms who employ approximately 21 000 people. CESA members are compelled to subscribe to upholding the integrity of the industry by adhering to a professional code of ethics providing quality and cost effective professional consulting engineering services. The organisation serves as a channel for Clients to address industry concerns while at the same time providing a platform for the sharing of information with the aim of assisting in optimising the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects both in the public and private sector.
31 October 2019 While Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) supports many of the provisions of Minister Tito Mboweni’s 2019 Medium Term Budget Policy Statement presented in his speech today, the organization believes that Government needs to place increased focus on revising its procurement policies and improving the quality of spending, particularly on large infrastructure projects making sure that the citizens of South Africa get ‘Value for Money’ infrastructure that is safe and designed to stand the test of time.
14th August 2019 In a night celebrating Excellence in Engineering hosted by Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) and sponsored by Aon South Africa, leaders in the Built Environment gathered at the Vodacom Dome in Midrand to honour 25 years of democracy and celebrate the winners of the 2019 CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Awards – reshaping our future together.
In August we honour women who have contributed towards building a prosperous country through their contributions to the Built Environment. 20 June 2019 Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) welcomes President Cyril Ramaphosa's announcement during his State of the Nation address of the R100billion SEED Fund for infrastructure development.
CESA’s President Mr Neresh Pather and our CEO Mr Christopher Campbell were guests on Newzroom Afrika’s Channel 405 BizonPrime discussing Infrastructure and the Economy ahead of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s SONA 2019 on the 20th June.
29 May 2019 Industry body, Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) congratulates Cyril Ramaphosa on his inauguration as President of South Africa and looks forward to the announcement of his new lean Cabinet. In keeping with President Ramaphosa’s call for a ‘New Dawn’ CESA would like to see the re-instatement of Stakeholder Engagement processes aimed at creating a transparent environment setting the stage for economic growth that is underpinned by investment in infrastructure development resulting in improved service delivery.
