William Kennedy holds professional registrations in Electronic Engineering, Quality Control and Management Systems Auditing and has held senior positions in Systems Engineering, Quality Management, Information and Communication Technology as well as Business Management.
He has 16 years of experience in consulting for small to large client organisations in the public and private sectors, 8 years post training experience in electronic systems engineering and 6 years of experience in the management and administration of computer local and wide area networks.
Past experience include engagement in consulting projects for organisations in the following sectors: Automotive, Cable Sleeve Manufacturing, Consulting Engineers, Chrome, Electricity Supply, Explosives Testing, Fertilizer, Geoscience, Hospitality, Masonry Products, Medical Devices, Mining - Open and Underground gold mining, National Treasury, Nuclear, Oil and Gas Equipment Maintenance, Pharmaceutical, Printed Circuit Boards, Product Research and Development, Project Management, Road Transport, Security and Software Development.
William has 13 years of experience as a Facilitator, presenting training on various topics such as Quality Management, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety Management, Business Process Mapping, Supplier Quality Assurance and General Management Principles to organisations in the public and private sector and has trained in excess of 2 500 delegates to date.
He has also facilitated various events and discussions aimed at delivering solutions to pertinent problems. These typically are in the form of brainstorming sessions, using group dynamics and collective knowledge to develop the best available solutions. These sessions covered topics such as Strategic and Business Planning, Business Risk Analysis, Specific Process Activities and Functional Design Development.
William is a registered Lead Auditor with the Southern African Auditors and Training Certification Authority (SAATCA), past elected Chair of the QMS Scheme Committee and member of the Technical Management Board.
He is an appointed Lead Auditor/Auditor (Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) for various international Certification Bodies (Registrars) as well as a variety of SMMEs.
